We started rescuing ferrets in January 1998.
There have been many ferrets through our centre, which is based in the Holderness area of East Yorkshire.
If we think a ferret is over 5 years of age then we do not re-home them or only to people who have knowledge of older ferrets and their needs, most of them will stay with us and live out the rest of their lives with us in the "geriatric unit" all other ferrets we try and find responsible loving homes.
We are an RSPCA approved centre with links to the Blue Cross & PDSA also members of the World Ferret Union, The National Ferret Welfare Society and SACS (Scotish Association Of Country Sports).
We take in ferrets from all over the East Riding of Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire but we will take in a ferret/s from anywhere if we have room.
We receive no funding from any other organisation or groups, we rely on the generosity of the general public. We attend shows, game fairs, fetes, garden parties and charity events throughout the year we are also available to give talks and displays to schools, colleges and any other interested parties to educate children and adults as to the needs and welfare of the ferret.
Please feel free to ask any questions or discuss ferret problems you may have but please remember we are not vets, if it is a medical problem please get in touch with your vet as soon as possible.
